The XF 23mm f/2 R WR offers a field of view that is equivalent to 35mm on a full-frame camera. This focal length was already covered by the XF23/1.4 R, which however is a bit bulky and also rahter expensive. For anyone who doesn't need the speed or minds the size or price, the f/2 lens is a welcome alternative. Used Fujifilm XF 23mm f/2 R WR. Like New £329. This "kit zoom" (with the X-E1) is a bit unusual: it's very fast in aperture: 18mm — f/2.8. 24mm — f/3.2. 35mm — f/3.6. 55mm — f/4. Generally kit zooms are about a stop slower than that. While the X-Pro1 and X-E1 are already good low-light cameras, the fast aperture on the zoom just helps them stay that way. This makes for a very nice
The Fujifilm XF 27mm F2.8 R WR now includes an aperture ring with F-stop scale. This allows you to adjust aperture settings without having to take time looking at the camera's screen, or through the viewfinder. The A (Auto) Position Lock enables you to lock the lens into the A-Position to minimise accidental adjustments to the lens aperture
The distortion characteristic is a two-sided thing. It may not be widely known but the X-Pro1 applies distortion auto-correction - same goes for the Fuji RAW converter. So if you follow the "native" approach, the Fujinon XF 18mm f/2 R produces only a moderate barrel distortion (~1.5%). Ergonomics. The XF 18mm is most definitely a small lens. I would even be willing to consider it a “pancake” lens, but once you mount the lens hood, it does increase the overall size noticeably Fujifilm XF 18mm f/1.4 — Ergonomics and build quality. The Fujifilm XF 18mm f/1.4 R LM WR is rather compact given its wide maximum aperture of f/1.4. With dimensions of 2.7-by-3 inches and with a weight that tips the scales at just 0.81 lbs., this fast prime should balance well with the majority of Fujifilm cameras currently available. Build quality is overall good but like the rest of the Fuji X-Pro1 system, the XF 18mm F2.0 R lens is light. In fact, the 18mm is the lightest of the lenses weighing in at only 116g. Because of this lightness, the 18mm F2.0 feels a bit hollow if not more so than the 35mm F1.4 because of the sheer lightness and small size.
This Fujinon XF 60/2.4 has all engraved markings and electronic auto and manual focus controlled by the camera. Most of the lens is a big, fat manual-focus ring. The manual focus ring works slowly and precisely, which is better than the XF 18mm f/2 and XF 35mm f/1.4, whose manual focus rings are useless. Who cares: the camera provides immediate

X-Pro3 | XF18mm f/1.4R WR @f/5.6. The XF18mm f/1.4 R WR REALLY feels at home on the X-Pro1-2-3 bodies. On this particular series of camera bodies it feels just right. Not at all front heavy. The lens has a front filter thread of 62mm, it weighs 370g and measures 68.8mm in width and 75.6mm in length.

The Fujifilm XF 60mm f/2.4 R macro lens has an all-metal construction, including the lens hood, which makes it feel high-quality and rugged. The metal lens hood adds a more premium feel to the lens as well, although I’ve heard plastic transfers less shock to a lens if dropped. It is nice that the lens hood reverses for when you want to store it.

This obviously will help with the weathersealing, as well, as nothing extends outside the lens during zooming. The dimensions of the XF 18-120mm PZ are 3 (D) x 4.9″ (L) / 77.3 x 123.5 mm with a 72mm front filter thread size.
The first two lenses, the XF 18mm f/1.4 R LM WR and XF 33mm f/1.4 R LM WR were new entries for the X mount whereas the XF 23mm f/1.4 R LM WR has a couple of 23mm siblings in the XF lens lineup, the XF 23mm f/1.4 R and XF 23mm f/2 R WR. At the time this article was written, both were still on the market.
It’s just a fact of engineering, materials, cost etc. You’d expect a FF camera w/ a great sensor and stellar “matched” lens to outperform the Fujis. If it didn’t, shame on Leica. Points well taken. On the other hand, the X-H2/X-T5 is much more recent tech and the XF 18 f/1.4 very extremely highly regarded.
The XF 16mm f/2.8 R WR is a very compact prime lens. It is less than two inches long (45 millimeters) and has a maximum diameter of only 2.4 inches (60mm). Perhaps even more impressive than its
