I absolutely would if you're a fan of the DA universe. Some lore bombs drop and some important resolutions for stuff running since Origins. Combat is kind of awkward but everything involving the writing, characters and Inquisition itself is fantastic. Also don't miss the Tresspasser DLC. Its a really good epilogue.

That fight used to be hard for me, it no longer is. I play at nightmare, and what I have found is that it is mostly in the preparation. By that point in the game I've got the level 4 armor schematics with dragon materials, +5 guard fade touched on all. Weapons or shields I make with +1%hp on hit snowfluer fade touched.
Solas has a couple of unique lines (as almost all the companions do), but he's not really that involved in either JoH or Descent, if that makes your decision easier. Iād play both after the main game, and Descent after Jaws of Hakkon. JOH was fun and challenging but Iām being majorly fucked on Descent.
