The reason the oil light is flashing is because the engine control unit works out the degrigation of the engine oil, when you change the oil and filter the oil life monitoring as the be reset. The only way to reset this is with the correct diagnostic tool, a dealer or a specialist will reset it for a small fee.
Some times from the 3rd gear, the N appears and the car can't change the gear. So i have to turn off the engine and try again. Some times, i have to wait 5 minutes before turn-on the engine again and try to the 1st gear. Some other times, trying to change the gear from 1st to R or from N to R, a sound stops me, a sound like the gears have no oil.

The filler plug wont be located at the top of a gearbox but at the side and will only allow the correct amount to be poured in and any more than that will flows back out ..so yellow peril is correct in what he says ..most garages have pumps to fill gearboxes and pump oil in and wait for over spill and then refit the plug ..I think machinemart sell a cheapo version of this ..
